Younis Cardiology was founded in 1978 by Dr. Antoine Younis, who cared for patients on his own until Dr. George Younis joined him in 2006. His tireless work ethic and dedication to each patient set the standard that still guides the practice today.

We have always been a Texas Medical Center practice, and we have always been private and independent: not owned by a hospital system, private equity, or any other corporate interest. Our physicians alone make the decisions about your care, allowing us to coordinate our patients' care with any facility that we think is right for the patient.

The practice has grown steadily since those early years. After Dr. Antoine Younis retired in 2021, Dr. Numan Khan joined us in 2022, followed by Dr. Matthew Bruce in 2025. We are privileged to keep growing, and to serve our patients and our local community in the largest medical center in the world.
